this blog for the first time,

please start the bottom of the blog and

work your way up to this one,

Thank you

If your interested

If you and your children are interested

sign-ups and payments can be made to me or the Adventure Time office.

As a bonus, I'd like to inform parents with multiple children,

the oldest child is regular price and then any additional are $10 less then what the regular fee is for any of the four or eight week courses.

(still included are the material fees)

Start Days

One thing my fliers did not mentions was when the classes would start.

Because of just getting this information out and for getting

lessons and material ready I'd like the

first week of all class to be June 20th.

The four week classes will end the week of July 11th

The eight week classes will end the week of August 8th

This blog is designed to

  • Keep parents updated week to week of lessons,

projects, and activities for each class.

  • I will have a few students from all classes to feature each

week with a picture of their artwork.

  • One way to keep in contact with me, such as leaving

me messages in the comments.

  • Let the parents know of extra fun things the

children could do at home in spare time.

  • There are probably more, but I've been staring

at my computer screen for 15min and

I can't think of any right now.

I will update when I do think of more.

Getting Started

My passion for art and children are about to be fused together this summer. Adventure Time Preschool and Daycare has given my permission to teach art lessons at their school.

It will be a chance for children to explore, learn and create in visual arts.

There will be four classes to sign up for; Preschool age class, Kindergarten age class, 1st - 3rd class and 4th - 6th class.

Each will be mainstreamed to the art curriculum of the age groups. For Example, in elementary the 1st - 3rd are introduced to and start to talk about sculpture and pottery, but how many of them actual get to complete a clay or ceramic sculpture.

I want to take the core knowledge curriculum and exaggerate it to give the children a deeper connection with the small art lessons they receive at school, plus some!
